Job Description

As EUROCONTROL’s new Head of Air Transport Innovation, you will provide sound leadership in air traffic management research by building industry and stakeholder partnerships and driving research, development and innovation.

EUROCONTROL’s role is to support European aviation by delivering technical excellence and civil-military expertise across the full spectrum of air traffic management, supporting our Member States and a wide spectrum of stakeholders including air navigation service providers, civil and military airspace users, airports and aircraft/equipment manufacturers.

This role is a key position at EUROCONTROL. Sound leadership skills, effective strategic thinking, a stakeholder-focused outlook and strong interpersonal skills are important attributes for this role.

We have four sites: our headquarters in Brussels, an Experimental Centre in Brétigny (Paris), a Training Institute in Luxembourg and an Upper Area Control Centre in Maastricht, The Netherlands. The Head of Air Transport Innovation will be based in Brétigny-sur-Orge (near Paris), France.
